Recapping the Injuries week 14 2016

By Armando Marsal
Armando Marsal As usual, I will review some of the injuries that occurred in the weekend and the implications they may have on your fantasy teams. There were some injuries that can be impactful as the fantasy playoffs arrive. Let’s take a look at some of the injuries that occurred this week.
Mohamed Sanu – Falcons: Sanu left Sunday’s game with a groin injury and was unable to return. Initial reports are that he is expected to return to practice on Thursday. His Week 14 availability is up in the air at this time. It is something worth monitoring.
Danny Amendola – Patriots: Amendola suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday’s win against the Rams. The Patriots “plan to make sure he is ready for the playoffs” which is a good indication that he will miss the remainder of the regular season. Malcolm Mitchell should see a bump in his role with Amendola on the sidelines.
Dwayne Washington – Lions: Washington left Sunday’s game against the Saints with an ankle injury. There have been no updates regarding his injury and it is uncertain if he will play in Week 14 at this time. He finished the day with 21 rushing yards on seven carries and two receptions for 19 yards.
Players that were injured but returned to the game Julio Jones – Falcons: turf toe Lamar Miller – Texans: rib Thomas Rawls – Seahawks: evaluated for concussion
