Following up on
the ongoing story. ... Receiver
Justin Jefferson is not being activated off the injured reserve list today, according to multiple report, and he will be ineligible to play Sunday night against the Broncos.
The Vikings continue to ramp Jefferson up and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the wideout is making progress.
His next chance to play will come next Monday night against the Chicago Bears, but keep in mind, the Vikings have a bye week after that game and ESPN's Adam Schefter suggests Jefferson could opt for additional recovery time for his hamstring if he does not play in Week 12.
Meanwhile, Minneapolis Star-Tribune staffer Ben Goessling expects
Alexander Mattison, listed as questionable with a concussion, will play against the Broncos.
"All signs were good as of Friday," Goessling added.
I'll continue to watch for more on that. ...
Finally, the Vikings activated quarterback
Nick Mullens to the 53-man roster ahead of visiting the Broncos in Week 11.
Mullens' activation completes his return from Injured Reserve for a back injury. He will backup
Josh Dobbs at quarterback while rookie
Jaren Hall remains in concussion protocol.
