Following up on a previous item. ... According to reports out of Chicago, Jordan Howard (shoulder) continued to work on a limited basis in Thursday's practice. It was the second-straight limited day for Howard, who had a rough time playing through the injury in Tampa last week after working on a limited basis all three days.

Kendall Wright (shoulder) also worked on a limited basis for a second-straight day.

On a more positive note, running back Benny Cunningham was a full participant and that's a little eye opening given the speed with which he's returning from a high ankle sprain.

And finally, Markus Wheaton wasn't on today's injury report, so, as Chicago Tribune staffer Brad Biggs notes, the former Steeler is as close as a full go as it gets for Sunday's game against his former team.
