Brown Meets With Rooney; All Sides Agree A Trade Will Be Best
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Antonio Brown informed the world via Twitter that he met with Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II on Tuesday.

The wide receiver claims both parties agreed that it is time to move on.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Brown initially met with Rooney then Brown's agent Drew Rosenhaus joined the meeting, as did Steelers' general manager Kevin Colbert and executive Omar Kahn, who handles the team's salary negotiations. According to Schefter, the meeting was cordial and "everyone agreed the trade will be for the best."

Indeed, Brown's posted the following on Twitter (along with a photo of himself and Rooney apparently from this meeting): "Had a great meeting with Mr.Rooney today we discussed a lot of things and we cleared the air on several issues! We both agreed that it is time to move on but I'll always have appreciation and gratitude towards the Rooney family and @steelers organization! #CallGod #Boomin"

According to multiple reports, the Steelers agreed to work on the potential trade but Brown and Rosenhaus do not have permission to speak with teams.

Still, assuming everybody is on the same page, the next move is finding a destination.

As for a timetable?

The Steelers owe Brown a $2.5 million roster bonus on March 17. Presumably, something will be done before that payment comes due.

So stay tuned. I'll continue to follow up.
