One day before facing the Raiders in Las Vegas, the Bears on Saturday made the following roster moves:

Running back David Montgomerywas placed on injured reserve due to a sprained knee he sustained early in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's win over the Lions.

He can return to the active roster after sitting out the next three games.

Damien Wiliams will start at running back in Mongtomery's absence.

Meanwhile, linebacker Danny Trevathan was activated off injured reserve.
