Trevor Lawrence will practice on a limited basis Thursday, according to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
Lawrence and the Jags are going through a lousy stretch of football that threatens their quest to win the AFC South for a second consecutive year. During their four-game losing streak, Lawrence has suffered a high-ankle sprain, a concussion, and now a shoulder injury.
Nevertheless he seems determined to give it a go this week against the Panthers in what is shaping up to be a must-win game.
“If Trevor play, we’re all-in on that. If
C.J. Beathard plays, we’re all in on that. ... It’s a tough decision,” head coach Doug Pederson said.
Beathard would obviously get the start if Lawrence is held out against Carolina. Obviously Beathard would be a downgrade for all Jacksonville pass catchers.
