Roy Helu was limited in practice for a third straight day Thursday, but is hopeful he'll play Saturday against Minnesota.
According to CBSSports.com, Helu said he's not feeling worn down after 96 carries the past four games. Rather, he said, he's still sore from getting his leg bent back after one hit against New York Saturday.
At this point, there's no reason to believe Helu won't start and play as usual. But it will be worth checking back after tomorrow's practice to see where he stands. I will, of course, follow up as needed through kickoff.
