The Facts: Cameron has reached a deal with Miami, PFT’s Mike Florio confirmed Thursday night. Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports first reported the Dolphins had signed Cameron, who was one of the better free agents left on the market.
Diehards Line:Earlier Thursday, multiple reports indicated Cameron had an agreement to go back to the Browns, with whom he had spent his first four NFL seasons. In the end, though, the Dolphins closed the deal for Cameron, who caught 80 passes two seasons ago but was hampered by injuries in 2014, including a concussion. Meanwhile, Florio reports the Dolphins do not intend to rescind transition tender from TE Charles Clay. Whatever the case, the deal with Cameron is done.
