The Facts: According to multiple reports, the Browns have re-signed Cameron to a two-year, $15 million contract.
Diehards Line:The news is a bit of a surprise with most observers considering Cameron unlikely to return to the Browns. He wanted to be closer to his son out west and really had nothing to keep him in Cleveland (especially given the team's numerous issues). His reception total dropped from 80 catches in 2013 to only 24 last year. In addition, signing Cameron is a bit of a risk because he has already had three concussions. He missed five games with a concussion in 2014. ... Still, the Browns need playmakers and when healthy, Cameron has been productive. Cameron was a Pro Bowl player in 2013 when he caught 80 passes for 917 yards and seven touchdowns. He is a legitimate 6-5, 255-pound seam threat. Now we'll see if the Browns can get enough out of their QBs to get the tight end back up to those levels.
