Diehards Line:We suggest that delays in decision making seem to favor keeping the veteran Donovan McNabb at the helm over rookie Christian Ponder as Ponder would benefit from as much foreknowledge of the change as possible. It's also worth noting that when Ponder was asked who should start next week, he didn't claim that role for himself. Whether Ponder is being realistic or is just refreshingly honest and without an ego, he didn't come across as being confident. McNabb, on the other hand, said that he expects to start. Keep in mind that neither player will ultimately make this decision.
