Gordon Fully Cleared For All Activities, Including Games
The Browns announced this morning that Josh Gordon has been activated, and will be involved in walk-throughs in coming days, something head coach Hue Jackson said yesterday was the plan.

But it goes beyond that. Gordon has been fully cleared by the NFL.

Gordon, who has had multiple violations of the league’s substance-abuse policy, announced that he needed time away to focus on his health. At the time, Gordon was initially placed on the “did not report” list at the start of training camp.

And while it's not clear if he will be ready to play Week 1, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said Gordon is “cleared to return to all activities, including games.”

It’s more than just walk-throughs. He’s officially back. And now the countdown to his return to the lineup is officially on as well.

As NFL.com suggests, getting Gordon back completely transforms the Browns receiving corps. The tandem of Gordon and Jarvis Landry would be one of the top duos in the NFL, if Gordon returns to form. Assuming that's the case, Gordon would push rookie Antonio Callaway and Rashard Higgins, who has impressed this preseason, into more natural roles.
