Battaglia Released; Could be back Monday...
The Dolphins activated offensive tackle Greg Jerman from the practice squad Saturday and terminated the contract of tight end Marco Battaglia.
Battaglia entered the preseason as starter Randy McMichael's backup, but he lost that spot to rookie Donald Lee after missing almost a week of training camp while deciding whether he wanted to continue playing football.
Agent Jerrold Colton said he expects the Dolphins to re-sign Battaglia on Monday.
"Our hope is that he will be back there," Colton said Saturday. "Sometimes injuries happen, and Marco was going to be inactive for Sunday's game anyway."
