Duckett Leaves Wednesday's Practice Early...
According to the Athens Banner-Herald, T.J. Duckett hurt a thigh during practice and headed to the training room.

Duckett, whose status remains unclear at this point, was the only Atlanta offensive player to have significant success in two games against Tampa Bay last season, rushing 24 times for a combined 99 yards.

I'll continue to monitor the situation and update as further details become available.

As reported by Atlanta Journal-Constitution staffer Matt Winkeljohn, Mike Vick continues to lift weights in a somewhat limited fashion and runs in a pool so there's less weight on his broken leg. He'd hoped to be off crutches by now, but he's still using them. "The bone's healing, but there's still pain in my foot," he "Once I'm able to overcome that, I'll be able to walk without these crutches and without this [removable] boot."

Vick's ankle will be X-rayed against Friday. "It ain't really about the X-rays anymore," he said. "It's more about me just walking on my own. That's the problem."

When might he be able to play again?

"Too early to tell now, man, but I'm hoping sometime in the middle of next month I'll be back and ready to lead this football team."
