Following up on a previous item. ... According to Dallas Morning News staffer Jon Machota, Jason Garrett told reporters he was hopeful Dez Bryant will practice today.

Bryant will be limited if he does work. He didn't practice Wednesday.

The coach added that the injury is a little more about Bryant's knee than it is his ankle. Garrett told reporters on Wednesday the knee injury appears to be a bruise rather than structural damage.

According to NFL Network's Jane Slater, Bryant didn't sound like a man interested in missing this weekend's game against the Falcons. But I'll obviously continue to follow up.
