The Facts: Many consider it a foregone conclusion that Losman will be spending the 2008 campaign in a different NFL uniform than the one in which he spent his first four NFL seasons. But Buffalo as an organization still values Losman as a player, and though Trent Edwards is the starting quarterback moving forward, it doesn't diminish the assets they feel Losman possesses.
Diehards Line:While team officials understand how Losman feels about the way things have shaken out at the QB position with Edwards the starter, at this point they're not opposed to keeping him as their number two signal caller. One of the main reasons is the sobering fact that starting quarterbacks rarely make it through all 16 games. Only 10 signal callers started all 16 regular season games in 2007. And as BuffaloBills.com staffer Chris Brown suggests, right now the Bills likely feel they could do a lot worse than Losman.
