The Facts: Moore has agreed to a three-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. ESPN reported earlier today the sides were close and the deal is now in place.
Diehards Line:Moore was the Vikings' No. 3 running back last season and also was used on punt returns. He will be reunited with Steelers coach and former Vikings defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh. After playing behind Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor last year, there was little doubt Moore would look to move on after the season. Moore led the Vikings in rushing in 2005, gaining 662 yards on 155 carries, but last season he was inactive for four games and had only 20 rushing attempts. He also caught six passes. Moore and Bobby Wade both were used on punt returns at different points of the season and Moore averaged 10 yards on 13 returns.
