The Facts: Taylor has to miss at least one more week while on the physically unable to perform list, but it wouldn't surprise ESPN insider Dan Graziano if his first game of the season was in a different uniform. Graziano wrote: "From what I understand, [Taylor] still doesn't want to play for the Colts, and they still don't want to give him a long-term contract. The time since the preseason has mellowed out the market a bit and maybe created more fertile ground for a deal."
Diehards Line:For what it's worth, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler thinks Taylor will remain a Colt. For as much as Taylor would like to be dealt, Fowler doesn't see a team that's clamoring to give up a Day 2 pick for a running back. It's a situation we'll continue to watch closely as Oct. 31 trade deadline draws nearer.
