The Facts: Johnson is expected to be sidelined “a few weeks” due to the hamstring injury he suffered Sunday vs. the 49ers, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Diehards Line:
Johnson left in the second half of the Steelers season-opener after making the team's longest catch of the game. He finished Week 1 with three receptions for 48 yards before leaving. The fifth-year receiver has accumulated 3,694 yards and 20 touchdowns during his career. With Johnson sidelined, the Steelers will turn to George Pickens, Allen Robinson and Calvin Austin as their core three at wide receiver. Gunner Olszewski and Miles Boykin are also on the active roster, but Boykin did not play an offensive snap in the opener, and Olszewski was inactive. Pittsburgh also has Dez Fitzpatrick and Simi Fehoko on their practice squad, if they choose to elevate either one.
