The Facts: "It would be surprising" if Hall is ready to go by Day 1 of training camp in July according to Zach Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
Diehards Line:
Of course, like it is with Denver's Javonte Williams, what "ready to go" means can be more than just practicing in walkthroughs. It also doesn't mean that Hall can't be cleared before the season starts. Hall is still recovering from a torn ACL that cost him the last 11 games of his rookie season but all reports are that he looks great. He is not participating in OTAs but was seen working off to the side. Hall was great before suffering the injury-463 yards rushing, 218 receiving, an awesome 5.8 ypc, and five touchdownsin seven game-but will remain a risky fantasy pick until cleared. Rosenblatt posits that "they’re either confident Hall will return to form -- which is rare the first year post-ACL surgery -- or believe the other running backs can hold down the fort." Michael Carter and Zonovan Knight would look to be first in line to hold that fort.
