The Facts: When asked if he expects Tannehill to be the team's starter in 2023, HC Mike Vrabel replied, "Of course we do" according to Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com.
Diehards Line:"Ryan is getting healthy," Vrabel explained. "He has been putting the work in. It is good to see him around the building. So yeah, we always expect that. But to make predictions -- I think I have been through this last year (with A.J. Brown) -- I am not going to commit to anybody being on our roster in September. I've seen it change too quickly. Of course, we want Ryan as our quarterback, and everybody else that has helped us win. That is what we want. ..." While the Titans continue to leave just a crack of the door open to the idea that they could start someone else in 2023, Vrabel's words definitely point to him as someone the team genuinely wants to start. Tannehill is still recovering from a high-ankle sprain suffered late last season that placed him on IR.
