The Facts: The Texans have reached an agreement to sign Singletary, a source tells NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Diehards Line:
The former Buffalo running back gives them an additional weapon alongside Dameon Pierce. Singletary has averaged 4.6 yards per rush in each of the last two seasons. While this is probably good news for an offense that just shipped off their top weapon, Brandin Cooks, to the Cowboys and that's likely to be starting a rookie QB this fall, it's not great news for Pierce, who fared well handling a featured role as a rookie.
