The Facts: Campbell is signing a one-year deal with Giants, a source tells ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Diehards Line:Campbell had career-best 63 catches for 623 yards and three TDs last season. The Colts drafted Campbell — who is 6 feet and 208 pounds — in Round 2 in 2019. He did essentially nothing in his first three seasons, while being limited to seven, two, and six games and struggling with injuries. Campbell had 127, 71, and 162 yards in his first three years, with one, zero, and one touchdown. So you have to wonder if he can stay healthy and productive with the Giants. Still, the 25-year old is a low-risk addition here for the Giants. Campbell joins a receiver room that most notably includes Isaiah Hodgins, Sterling Shepard, and Wan’Dale Robinson, though those latter two are both recovering from ACL tears. So even with the re-signing of Shepard and the addition of Campbell and former Jets WR Jeff Smith (who is very much unproven as a receiver), there are still a lot of questions for the Giants’ offense and newly-acquired TE Darren Waller still seems to be at the top of the receiving pecking order.
