The Facts: Higbee was able to continue on-field football activity after ramping up his rehab process through the spring. Higbee had knee surgery after the Super Bowl.
Diehards Line:Higbee enters his seventh NFL season still locked in at the top of the team's depth chart. But the Rams have other options at the position -- Brycen Hopkins, who filled in nicely with Higbee out in February's Super Bowl win, and Kendall Blanton -- have both shown promise. Still, Higbee is only 29 and he's signed for the next two seasons at $8 million and $7.6 million, respectively, so right now the price is reasonable and the Rams should be happy enough with the return.
