The Facts: Los Angeles Rams GM Les Snead says the team "definitely" wants to re-sign wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. according to Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA.
Diehards Line:
There has been a lot of speculation about OBJ's future in LA after the Rams signed former Bears wideout Allen Robinson to a three-year, $46.5 million contract (with $30 million in guaranteed money) to take the No.2 wideout role opposite Cooper Kupp in 2022 and beyond. And any team signing Beckham has to be concerned about the ACL tear he suffered during the Super Bowl. That said, the Rams have been vocal about re-signing the play-making wideout every since that Super Bowl victory. Working in the Rams' favor? Beckham's options this offseason may be limited entering his age-30 season given his injury history and the fact that he is not expected to be ready to play until at least early November. A reunion with the Rams on a short-term deal seems to be a wise choice by both parties.
