The Facts: Harry’s trade request reportedly won’t keep him away from training camp. According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, the Patriots wide receiver will still come to the facility as his request hangs in the air. “As dialogue continues with the team, I’m told the current plan is for Harry to attend training camp,” Anderson tweeted. “In his ongoing preparation for team activities, Harry currently has plans to train with T.J. Houshmandzadeh, per source.”
Diehards Line:As it stands, Harry is behind Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Jakobi Meyers on the depth chart, and will need to compete with Gunner Olszewski, Tre Nixon, Marvin Hall and Isaiah Zuber for a roster spot. The former first-round pick requested a trade in a strongly-worded statement from his agent, Jamal Toolson, last week.
