The Facts: Gibson said the toe injury that forced him to miss two games late last year has lingered through the start of the offseason. He said he's been rehabbing, and he's able to make cuts he needs to, but it's something he'll have to monitor moving forward.
Diehards Line:
Remember, had Gibson not been forced to miss two games with that same turf toe injury, he may have become Washington's first 1,000-yard rusher since Adrian Peterson in 2018. Assuming a continued role as Washington's featured back and a staple of their offense heading into the 2021 season, Gibson remains a solid RB2 candidate for fantasy managers. As such, we'll continue to monitor his health closely.
