The Facts: According to Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd, he's heard that Chicago general manager Ryan Pace is, in essence, throwing everything and the kitchen sink at Seattle to try to acquire Wilson: "I'm told the Chicago Bears are trying to make a move on Russell Wilson and trying to create a move that is so good Seattle can't say no," Cowherd said.
Diehards Line:
While Wilson hasn't requested a trade, his agent has floated a list of four teams the QB would be willing to play for and Chicago is on it. At things currently stand, a trade this year seems unlikely. And while it's obviously not impossible for it to happen, trading Wilson before June would leave $39 million in dead money against the cap on the Seahawks' books. Considering that, a trade next season makes more sense. But we'll continue to watch for more.
