The Facts: The Giants are expected to sign veteran running back Devonta Freeman.

Diehards Line:The Giants lost Saquon Barkley to an ACL tear in Week 2 and were looking at a backfield of Dion Lewis and Wayne Gallman. Gallman was inactive on Sunday while Lewis saw 10 carries and a handful of targets. Freeman looked washed as a runner but still topped 400 yards through the air in Atlanta in 2019. This is a backfield to avoid. Freeman is the priority add off waivers and Lewis can be rostered in deeper leagues.
