The Facts: Henry and the Titans have until 4 p.m. ET today to get a long-term deal done. It sounds like it's coming. According to both ESPN and NFL Network, the two sides are working to finalize a deal before the deadline with an agreement on the way to being done.
Diehards Line:
The Titans and Henry have stayed in contact, slowly working on an extension. Henry stands to make $10.27 million under the terms of the franchise tag, which he signed in April. He was in line for unrestricted free agency or another tag after the 2020 season without an agreement. The desire to keep Henry is understandable. Counting the playoffs, he carried the ball 386 times. Tennessee will lean on Henry to carry the ball plenty in 2020 -- and it appears beyond.
