The Facts: Breida is being tendered at a second-round level, a source tells ESPN's Dianna Russini.
Diehards Line:
Breida, 25, was the team's leading rusher in 2018 with 814 yards on a 5.3-yard average. Last season, he appeared in 13 games with five starts. Breida gained 623 yards with a 5.1-yard average. He did not see much action late in the regular season and in the playoffs after returning from missing three games with an ankle injury. Breida joins a 49ers backfield that consists of Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman, Jeff Wilson and Jerick McKinnon, who accepted a restructured deal on Tuesday to return to the club in 2020.
