The Facts: ESPN's Josina Anderson is told one team has been in preliminary communication with the Chargers in attempt to vet out a potential trade for Gordon.
Diehards Line:
As previously reported, the Chargers have given the reps for Gordon permission to seek a trade. GM Tom Telesco announced shortly after giving that permission, that any contact extension talks withGordon will be postponed until after the season. So now, barring a trade, the Chargers say Gordon can play for $5.605 million or not play at all. So while it seems unlikely anybody is going to be willing to pay Los Angeles for the right to pay Gordon more than the $10 million offer he found disrepectful when the Chargers offered it earlier this summer seems like a reach.
