The Facts: The Jets have signed kicker Taylor Bertolet after Catanzaro retired.

Bertolet last played for the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football where he connected on nine of his 14 field goal attempts, including 4-for-7 from over 50 yards. He later joined the Broncos in April and was subsequently waived in July. Catanzaro rejoined the Jets in April after spending last season with the Buccaneers and Panthers. For his career, the 28-year-old converted on 83.8 percent of his field goals and 92.9 percent of his extra points.
