The Facts: So far at training camp, Callaway has consistently been part of the second-team offense, while Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins get first-team reps. When Beckham sat out team drills on Monday, it was Derrick Willies and Jaelen Strong who got first-team opportunities.
Diehards Line:
Callaway started 11 games last season as a rookie and had the third-most targets on the team. His 2018 totals: 43 catches for 586 yards and a team-high five touchdown receptions. When he showed up in Berea for OTAs, coaches and teammates talked about how great Callaway looked, and that it seemed like he put in work to prepare for the coming season. He ran with the first-team offense during OTAs and minicamp, and alerted media to his goal of 1,000 yards receiving 10 or more touchdowns.
