The Facts:
Williams has announced he’s signing with Cardinals.
Diehards Line:
Williams has never played a full season as a pro. The former Raven has appeared in 42 games over four seasons with 63 career receptions for 497 yards and three touchdowns. He is known as a good run blocker. Williams brings more veteran experience to the Cardinals tight end room. They added nine-year vet Charles Clay earlier in the offseason but of the other four players at the position, only Ricky Seals-Jones and Darrell Daniels have played in the league, and both are entering their third season. The Cardinals also have Caleb Wilson, whom they drafted in the seventh round last week, and undrafted rookie Jerome Washington. If Williams makes the final roster, he will face his old team in Week 2 when Arizona takes on the Ravens on the road.
