Drake has been studying film of Patriots RB James White, a versatile weapon with some similar traits. “They get the ball to running backs in check-down situations,” Drake said. ”To watch film like that and get out in the defense. And figure out a way to get into the zone or lose leverage to my advantage. To free up space for me to make plays.”
Diehards Line:In restricted action, Drake has averaged 4.7 yards per rush over the first three years of his career. If he had enough carries to qualify, Drake would be tied for second with Ezekiel Elliott and Adrian Peterson among active running backs in that category.
