The Facts: The Lions have signed running back C.J. Anderson to a one-year deal.
Diehards Line:Anderson will replace LeGarrette Blount as the backup to Kerryon Johnson. Anderson was impressive for the Rams towards the end of last season, as he stepped in for the dinged up Todd Gurley. That said, Johnson is the lead back on this offense and should receive the majority of the workload this upcoming season, leaving Anderson as a solid handcuff at best.
