The Facts: The Raiders issued a tender to exclusive-rights free agent Carlson.
Diehards Line:Carlson, a fifth-round pick by the Vikings last April, got off to a rocky start. He missed three field-goal attempts (including one in overtime) against the Packers in Week 2. Minnesota cut him the following day. The Raiders signed him Oct. 23 and Carlson went on to become the most reliable kicker in the league. He made all four of his extra point attempts in Week 8, missed one of his two attempted field goals in Week 9, and then rattled off 15 consecutive kicks without a miss to finish the season. Carlson also made every single extra point he attempted in 2018. To top off his season, the rookie weapon also set a new single-season record for the Raiders by converting on 94.1 percent of his field goals.
