The Facts: Hamstrung literally during a rookie season where he displayed flashes of vast potential as he battled a chronic hamstring injury, Coutee is fully healthy again and excited about launching preparations for his second NFL season. "I'm feeling great," Coutee said. "The hamstring is good. I'm still resting a little bit. I'm going to start back training soon, but it's 100 percent."
Diehards Line:
Coutee only played in six regular-season games, starting twice. In those games, he caught 28 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown. That would have put him on pace for 74 catches and 765 yards. The Texans could have a formidable receiving corps next season, if everyone, including Coutee and Will Fuller, are more durable. Fuller caught 32 passes for 503 yards and four touchdowns before he tore his anterior cruciate ligament. All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins played in every game and caught 115 passes for 1,572 yards and 11 touchdowns. "Everybody knows we're very dangerous," Coutee said. "For me to stay healthy, that's all I can be thankful for and blessed and ready to stay healthy this year." As a rookie, Coutee proved that he has the ability. Now, he wants to show that he can be counted on every week.
