The Facts: Three players who sat out the Seahawks’ first practice of Wild Card-week were back on the field Wednesday at Virginia Mason Athletic Center, where Baldwin (knee) and running backs Chris Carson (not injury related) and Mike Davis (foot) were limited participants ahead of Saturday’s playoff game against the Cowboys in Dallas.
Diehards Line:
Still sidelined for Seattle on Wednesday was fullback Tre Madden (hamstring), guard J.R. Sweezy (foot), cornerback Shaquill Griffin (ankle), safety Bradley McDougald (knee), and tackle Duane Brown (knee). Meeting with the media on Tuesday, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Sweezy is likely to be a game-day decision, while Griffin will try to practice on Thursday before the team flies to Texas. Guard D.J. Fluker (hamstring) and safety Tedric Thompson (ankle) joined Baldwin, Carson, and Davis as limited participants for the Seahawks on Wednesday. For Fluker, it’s the offensive lineman’s second straight day working in limited fashion. More information on the team’s injury situation heading into Wild Card weekend will become available following Thursday’s practice, when Carroll will meet with the media for a final time before the team departs for Dallas.
