The Facts: According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Saints are not going to match Snead’s offer sheet with Baltimore. Snead will be a Raven.
Diehards Line:
They officially have two more days to match the Ravens' offer, but NFL Network and Profootballtalk.com are also reporting the Saints have told Snead they will not be matching. Snead was suspended for three games to open last season and ended the year with just eight catches for 92 yards in 11 games. The Saints have added Cameron Meredith to a receiving corps that also includes Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn. The Ravens, meanwhile, are in the midst of a major overhaul at the position with recent signees Michael Crabtree and John Brown currently at the top of their depth chart. Snead seems likely to move in as their WR3 at this point, but we'll continue to watch for more.
