Diehards Line:
Boykin was the Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback in 2016. He spent the 2017 season on the Seahawks' practice squad. The Seahawks signed him to a reserve/future contract on Jan. 2. Today's news follows a report in which his girlfriend gave startling details of an alleged assault she says she suffered at the hands of Boykin. The victim suffered a broken jaw on both her left and right sides and was released from the hospital three days later, on Saturday. She made the allegations public Monday night. Detectives from the Mansfield Police Department interviewed Bailey on Tuesday and are investigating the incident.
