The Facts: HC Jay Gruden doesn’t expect Reed to participate in OTAs.
Diehards Line:
The offense runs through Reed and without him it was a struggle just to put together a mid-level unit. A toe injury in training camp led to a hamstring strain during the regular season. Reed also missed time with a chest contusion. He played in just six games and in two of those saw 21 or fewer snaps. He ended the season on injured reserve due to the hamstring injury, so it's not clear what the current issue is, but Reed was considering toe surgery back in December. We'll obviously be following up with more.
