The Facts: Nelson is in demand. He's visiting the Raiders today, then he is scheduled to visit the Seattle Seahawks followed by the New Orleans Saints.
Diehards Line:
The Seahawks are expected to lose Paul Richardson when free agency opens as he’s reportedly agreed to terms with the Redskins. Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett are the top returning receivers in Seattle. The Saints don’t have impending departures from their receiver group, but are likely trying to see if Nelson is the right choice to flesh out a group fronted by Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn. Of course, those visits depend on Nelson getting out of Oakland without a contract. The Raiders sound very interested as they have numerous connections to Nelson (GM Reggie McKenzie and receivers coach Edgar Bennett all come from Green Bay). They also seem to be ready to move on from Michael Crabtree's contract.
