Cook told reporters he has resumed jogging but doesn't have a plan set yet for returning to football activities.
Diehards Line:
Cook is coming back from the torn ACL he suffered early in the season. Cook was impressive prior to his injury. Appearing in four games, he racked up 444 yards from scrimmage, averaging 4.8 yards on the ground and scoring two touchdowns. Cook was placed on injured reserved Oct. 1 and has already had three months of recovery. Remember, the Vikings training staff has extensive experience and positive outcomes with ACL rehabs -- including Adrian Peterson's amazing return in 2012. Of course, Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon fared well enough in Cook's absence, but neither posed the kind of dynamic threat the rookie did over his first month. ... We'll be watching for more.
