The Facts:
HC Chuck Pagano told reporters today that Moncrief is out with a mild AC joint sprain in his shoulder.
Diehards Line:
According to local reports, Moncrief left the field midway through Thursday's practice. Worth noting, previous reports indicated Moncrief had caught everything thrown at him in recent days. Of course, Moncrief was plagued by injuries in 2016 and never really took the predicted next step in his development during his third season. This had a definite impact on the Colts' offense. Moncrief has the size, speed, tackle-breaking ability and sideline-catch acumen to be a star opposite T.Y. Hilton in the Colts' offense. He remains one of Indy's best red-zone weapons, something they sorely missed when he was out last season. And that's the key; Moncrief must be on the field. We'll be watching his status closely.
