The Facts: Griffin isn't giving up on his NFL career. The former Redskins and Browns quarterback is scheduled to work out Tuesday for the Los Angeles Chargers, a source involved in the tryout told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Diehards Line:
Cut by Cleveland in March, Griffin has drawn zero interest on the free-agent market. Refusing to give up, the 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year has spent the offseason training in Florida with former Browns assistant Pep Hamilton, who claims the ball is "flying out" of a healthy Griffin's hand. In Los Angeles, the 27-year-old signal-caller would join a quarterback room led by Philip Rivers and backed by Kellen Clemens, Mike Bercovici and Eli Jenkins. It'll be interesting to see if he's there for more than just a look.
