The Facts: Cody Kessler came into OTAs as the man to beat, but that could change heading into next week's mandatory minicamp. Kessler has improved, but Osweiler has stepped up his game as he's gotten more comfortable in the scheme and DeShone Kizer is playing faster and with more confidence each week.
Diehards Line:The rotation has mostly been Kessler, Osweiler, Kizer and Kevin Hogan. According to Plain Dealer staffer Mary Kay Cabot notes, if HC Hue Jackson really believes Osweiler or Kizer needs more first-team reps, he’ll make a change. If not, he’ll stick with the status quo at least until after minicamp June 13-15. “I could (change), I could not, too," said Jackson. "Cody has improved. Brock is doing well. We are going to take it all into account and see where we are.” Jackson said he’s looking for “the accuracy and consistency, running our offense and not turning the ball over. In order to play for us, we cannot turn the ball over. That is one thing that I have stressed, we turned it over way too much. ..." Stay tuned.
