The Facts: Inman had surgery to repair an injured core muscle, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Inman is expected to miss six weeks, which would mean the rest of the offseason work until training camp.
Diehards Line:Last season Inman started all 16 games and was second on the team with 58 catches for 810 receiving yards. This offseason he signed a one-year, $2.7 million restricted free agent tender. Next year he’s set to become an unrestricted free agent. The addition of rookie first-round pick Mike Williams will make it difficult for Inman to continue to contribute at the same level this year.
