The Facts: Graham began training camp on the physically unable to perform list, but Pete Carroll continued to sound optimistic about the player's progress. "They're in fantastic shape," Carroll said of Graham and Thomas Rawls. "Nobody's worked harder than those two guys. I mentioned in the first meeting, you normally don't talk about the rehab guys. I'm talking about the rehab guys because of the effort and what they have given to this offseason. We want to see where they are under our guidance full-on, they're working twice a day. They're going to show us that they can do all of that before we make the next step."
Players can come off the PUP list at any time during training camp. The Seahawks have four straight days of practice before taking a break this Wednesday. Carroll said the team will take a look then to see where Rawls and Graham are. "If they're really looking good, then maybe we go ahead and make the move," he said. "We're not going to be impatient at all with this, but there'll be a time when we want them to start to develop on the field because they can't do stuff with the coaches yet. So they're only working with the trainers. There'll be a time, but there's plenty of time." Graham sustained a ruptured patellar tendon in late November. In his first season with the Seahawks, he had 48 catches for 605 yards and two touchdowns. Luke Willson has replaced Graham as the starting tight end.
