The Facts: Gillmore will undergo a magnetic resonance imaging test Friday after injuring his hamstring.
Diehards Line:
Gillmore walked off the field with a trainer with about 45 minutes left in practice, and it's unknown how he suffered the injury. He flashed playmaking potential in 2015, finishing fifth on the Ravens with 33 catches for 412 yards and four touchdowns. Fortunately for the Ravens, the team has depth at tight end. Baltimore still has Benjamin Watson, Dennis Pitta, Maxx Williams and Nick Boyle (who will miss the first 10 regular-season games due to suspension). As ESPN.com notes, this extends a painful year for Gillmore, who had shoulder surgery this offseason. Gillmore plays a physical style, which has led to multiple issues. Injuries to his calf, shoulder and back limited him to 10 games last season, and he was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 21. We'll follow up as needed.
